JT Chamber Presents A New Logo
_________________________

The Chamber is pleased to announce the selection of a new logo!
Created by the talented Cheryl Kandel of Stitch Art Studio in Joshua Tree, the logo was derived from a colorful work of embroidery that recently won third place in a nationwide contest. The Board of Directors voted to approve the logo at it's last Board meeting on April 12th.
The new logo represents Joshua Tree's night sky, desert scenery and of course, the tree that gave our community its name.
The Chamber would like to thank Cheryl Kandel on a beautiful work of art and recommend to it's members to visit Cheryl's web site and learn about her embroidery business:
www.stitchartstudio.com.

Addendum: As of March 2010, The Joshua Tree Chamber has adopted a new logo, ending the use of Cheryl's design. She feels privledged to have had the Chamber use her design for as long as they did.
