This is a nation-wide magazine and will be great exposure for Stitch Art Studio.   The Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce hosts two annual street fairs, Turtle Days in May, and Wild West Coyote Fest in October. Cheryl has designed the poster and t-shirt art for the 2007 event held in downtown Joshua Tree. The Sun Runner Magazine's April/May 2006 issue features Cheryl's art on the front cover. Created by the talented Cheryl Kandel of Stitch Art Studio in Joshua Tree, the logo was derived from a colorful work of embroidery that recently won third place in a nationwide contest. The Board of Directors voted to approve the logo at it's last Board meeting on April 12th. The new logo represents Joshua Tree's night sky, desert scenery and of course, the tree that gave our community its name.
